Serving Hope & Redemption Daily
People come in for our handcrafted coffee and scratch-baked goods, but every purchase makes a bigger story happen. Owned by Awake Ministries, 100% of our profits and daily workforce training help individuals in recovery rebuild their lives right here in Shelbyville.
The business feeds the purpose — how your daily visit creates change:
From signature lattes and fresh-baked muffins to comforting lunch favorites and private event catering, we serve Shelbyville with warmth and excellence.
Our café provides a safe, sober, and supportive environment where Awake program residents gain kitchen training, food-handler certifications, and confidence.
Every dollar of profit goes directly back into Awake Ministries to fund residential addiction recovery and feed over 8,500 neighbors monthly through our food bank.
When you visit The Paddock, you are doing more than just buying a great cup of coffee. We are proudly owned by Awake Ministries, and 100% of our profits go directly back into funding residential addiction recovery and feeding over 8,500 neighbors a month through our local food bank.
More importantly, our café serves as a critical training ground. We provide a safe, sober, and supportive environment where men and women in recovery gain kitchen certifications, build self-confidence, and safely reintegrate into the Shelbyville community.

We had an incredible time hosting the local downtown business mixer in The Gathering Space last week. Over 50 local business owners joined us for an evening of connection, scratch-baked appetizers, and our signature espresso flights.
A huge thank you to everyone who came out to support our mission and learn more about the Awake workforce program!
